Tips for a Healthy Smile

Brushing your teeth is an important part of your dental care routine. The ADA recommends you:
• Brush twice daily with a soft-bristled brush
• Replace your toothbrush every 3-4 months or sooner
• Make sure to use an ADA accepted fluoride toothpaste
• Brush at a 45-degree angle to the gums
• Brush to cover all surfaces of the tooth
• Brush your tongue to remove bacteria & keep breath fresh
• Floss daily
• Eat a balanced diet and limit between meal snacks
• Visit Dr. Thurman for cleanings & oral exams!
